Roy S. Berns will receive the Judd award 2013
The award will be presented during the AIC 12th Congress in
Newcastle, UK. Following the presentation of the Judd
medal and the citation of the award, Roy Berns will deliver the Judd
lecture.

March 21 was
established as the International Day of Colour.
The winner of the logo competition was
announced at AIC 2012 in Taipei. The selected design was
created by Hosanna Yau, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Dr. Pieter Walraven from the Netherlands,
AIC Judd awardee 1991, passed away unexpectedly and suddenly on
February 27, 2013, at the age of 82.
The President of the Deutsche
farbwissenschaftliche Gesellschaft (DfwG), Dr. Gerhard Rösler, died
after a short illness in the pre-christmas period, at the end of 2012.

The journal Colour:
Design and Creativity, published until 2010 by the Society of
Dyers and Colourists, has been transferred to the AIC and renamed as Journal
of the International Colour Association. JAIC
is an on-line, free-access, peer-reviewed journal devoted to all
aspects of colour.
